The décor of the Amazoo Yoplait Water Park, as its name suggests, is inspired by South America’s Amazon River.

The Cunucunoma River is a tributary of the Amazon River and this is why we have given this name to our own river.

It has a length of 425 metres (1,394 feet), a width of 4,25 metres (14 feet) and its flow transports, in addition to a great number of adventurers, 1,473,000 litres of water (324,000 gallons).

At 2,757 m2 (29,684 square feet), this wave pool is the largest in Quebec. It takes 4,219,000 litres of water (928,000 gallons) to fill it and all this water is heated to ensure the bathers’ comfort.

The water movement is activated by a pneumatic mechanism that includes blowers and caisson generators reproducing eight different wave patterns. All the water is filtered on an hourly basis to ensure its cleanliness.

A great number of lounging chairs are set up around the bodies of water. Adjacent to the wave pool, the lagoon’s calm and shallow waters are ideal for toddlers.

Lifeguards are always on duty in great number to ensure the safe enjoyment of all the activities.
